GREAT SET OF  FOUR GEORGIA CHAIRS

An exceptional set of four continuous arm Windsors made by the Hannon family. A Chair Makers in Cave Springs, Georgia. The chairs have wonderful shaped seats and perfect splay.  A very comfortable set of chairs to surround your table. 

Purchased,  with the knowledge, they had come from the makers home.
 They are a highly crafted matched set with the brand stamped under the seats.

Tennessee/Georgia Farm Table
 Original Paint !

A great Tennessee/Georgia farm table with a wonderful two board top. The seating height is 23 3/4" with a total height of 29". The table is just under 6' but sits like a longer table because of the long base.
It will seat 8 easily.




Georgia Walnut Drop Leaf Table Athens, Georgia Area 1820- 1840 

Purchased from the Great, Great Granddaughter of the original owner. Constructed of walnut primary, and heart pine secondary wood. Nice delicate ring turnings similar to other tables from the Athens area.  The leaves nice and long, opening the table will enable you to seat 6 to 8 people.

Southern Dish Top Candlestand 1795

Great Southern tilt-top candlestand
  This is a great stand with very good proportions. The top is a well formed turned dish, set on a delicate vase shaped pedestal. The well formed snake feet make for a winning combination. The stand retains the old reddish surface, nicely alligatored. One leg may be a very old replacement.

GREAT GEORGIA HUNTBOARD
OLD RED PAINT !

Srubbed Heart Pine worn smooth from years of use.
This Huntboard was found in Bartow County, Georgia. When purchased it had seven coats of Paint !
The top coat was a lime green over white, brown, white, blue, white, and finally red.
This great piece was a labor of love. I
carefully remove all the top layers to reveal the original red wash,
The pulls are original to the piece.
 The top is 
beautiful

The size is 37 1/2" tall, 43 3/4" wide, and 21 1/4" deep.

TENNESSEE CHERRY CORNER CUPBOARD

  A wonderful,  tall,  thin Corner Cupboard made and found in Tennessee circa 1810.
 The cupboard is all cherry primary wood with poplar secondary wood.
 The cupboard is made of two doors with eight panes of glass each door. Glass doors over top and two blind doors.
Great size at 88" tall x 41" wide.

TENNESSEE ONE DRAWER TABLE

 

A wonderful turned leg central Tennessee one drawer stand with center lock. Rectangular top over single dovetailed drawer, with double pegged legs mortised to the case. The table is made of walnut primary wood and tulip poplar secondary wood. The dimensions are 28 5/8” tall, 22 ¾” wide, 17” deep. In the Tennessee Furniture book Fig. 115 is a similar Marshall County table, also a collector sent us photos of a similar table leg from

Davidson county (Nashville).
